French food is always a bit of a worry for vegetarians, as its not known for its meat free options, however, having brunch at Cote is easy as a vegetarian.

Easy as there aren’t many options. The food is good, and reasonable (if you get the cooked breakfast, juice and hot drink combo for £10.95).

The options are:

  • Vegetarian Breakfast – vegetarian sausage, field mushroom, tomato, avocado, baby spinach and two poached eggs on sourdough toast with a side of Hollandaise sauce
  • Eggs Florentine – two poached eggs on a toasted muffin with homemade Hollandaise sauce and spinach

Alternativley you can have a pastry, yoghurt or fruit.

I went for the Vegetarian Breakfast, which was nice, you get a decent amount of avocado, eggs and spinach, but the toast is small, and you only get one sausage.

Eat Without The Meat rating: 4/10
